During my time in Helsinki I have photographed the Helsinki Cathedral many times but this has to be one of my favorites. I would like to hear your opinion in the comments.
Thanks to the unknown man for standing still for the photograph.
More photographs from the cathedral can be found in my post Helsinki Cathedral
The focus is all in the center which feels a little off to me. I would like to see it cropped or shot in a way so the top of the cathedral were to the left or right just a bit. Or if the guy was off center as well. That way the viewer’s eye travels from left to right (or vice versa) through the whole image. In my photography class it was referred to as the rule of thirds.

I also thought the same so I took photos from a number of different angles, hoping to post that soon. Thanks for your feedback Sarah, much appreciated.

Great shot with the carousel. That man must have been very still.

Thanks. Spent a couple of hours there to get a few different angles. Such a good location with an iconic landmark looking over it.

I did the same last year in Boston. Angles and shutter speed are fun to play with in carousels. Cheers!

Yes there are. As long as it’s not too cold. I managed about an hour before I had to go inside for a warm up.
