I was recently handed down a couple of old SLR’s. It’s been a while since I have used one and I am looking for a few tips and to hear want type of film people are using and there advantages. Hopefully I will be able to share some of the results I get with them here in the future. In the meantime, I think they will make pretty good props.
Let me hear your tips and experiences in the comments.
I have no idea about what kind of filmi I used with my old camera, sorry.

Thanks anyway. I ordered a plan colour film but thinking black and white would be more interesting.
Enjoy your weekend!

I would use different brands depending on if I were shooting in black and white or colour. Ilford is the one that comes to mind for b&w. I think that is what I used in my photography class days when I would develop it myself (in class). For color it was Kodak or Fuji that I would have developed at work when I worked in a 1 Hr Photo Lab.

We used to use Agra but I think they are out of business now. I was looking at Ilford for shooting in black and white. I guess the first film will be a test of the camera even works! Fingers crossed.
