Sinebrychoff Tower
Not really a castle but the Sinebrychoff Tower does slightly resemble a medieval turret. Here you can see it at two different seasons of the year, summer and winter. Years ago Nikolai Sinebrychoff built a brewery and house here, and in the back garden he built his own observation tower. Kittilä church was completed in 1831 and was the only building in Kittilä to survive the German’s Scorched Earth policy during the Lapland war in 1944.
