Spring Meets Art

Outside the Ateneum museum in Helsinki is this installation by Kaarina Kaikkonen. The shirts have been hanging in the tree since February and when they first went up they were clear to see. Now, not so much. For more comparisons in the seasons see HERE or HERE.

A Year in Lapland

After a year it is time to leave the Arctic Circle and head south for the winter. It has been an excellent experience to see Lapland change throughout the year with its dramatic seasonal extremes.
